I use my time looking at new listings and touring properties with clients. After buying a home most people renovate bathrooms or kitchens. Increasingly total renovations and additions are the norm. My professional career in construction qualifies me to answer questions on the spot about those past renovations. I can identify defects and shortcomings that may not be noticeable to an untrained eye, and I can provide cost estimates for repairs. I’ll point out which walls are structural and which walls can be removed easily. I’m happy to share my professional opinion prior to a home inspection, providing helpful information before making an offer. My customers all say it was a big advantage to have the consultation of an experienced contractor at every property under consideration.
